Platform

From your own records to one understandable portfolio.

Market Minds separates accounting from market-price updates. The goal is a clean private ledger with simple ways to import, reconcile, plan and review.

1

Create your workspace

Create a portfolio, add broker accounts and choose the broker that should be preselected for manual Buy/Sell entries.

2

Import current holdings

Upload broker holdings CSV/PDF where supported. Review extracted symbols, quantities and average cost before accepting.

3

Bring trade history

Broker-specific parsers can rebuild transaction history while preserving review gates and SELL lot allocation.

4

Keep prices separate

Manual/shared price updates change valuation and unrealized P/L, not historical transaction accounting.

5

Review by broker

Switch between all brokers, a specific broker account or older unassigned transactions without changing the combined ledger.

6

Plan before acting

Use Trade Planner and Investor Tools to test outcomes before you record a real transaction.

Total worth

Stocks are only one part of your financial picture.

The portfolio home can combine separately tracked values so a user sees total worth without mixing different accounting models.

Listed shares

Holdings, cost basis, current value, realized/unrealized P/L, dividends, cash and broker tags.

Mutual Funds

Manual fund name, AMC/provider, units, average unit cost, current unit price and price date.

Physical Gold

Weight, purity, purchase cost and manually updated 24K/tola valuation with date.

Manual or shared price updates are treated as dated valuations rather than live market data, with a timestamp or source shown where available.

Why the accounting-first design matters

A portfolio tracker can become unreliable when market-price data, imported broker statements and historical transaction records overwrite one another. Market Minds is designed to keep those jobs separate: transactions explain what happened; prices explain what positions are worth now.

This separation lets a user maintain a ledger, review cost basis and calculate current valuation from an explicitly dated price update without rewriting historical transactions.

Review-first imports

Automated extraction is useful only if a user can review what will be committed. Broker files vary, historical statements can contain reversals and same-day activity can affect sell-lot handling. Review gates are therefore a product feature, not an inconvenience.

Private portfolio workspace

Portfolio records, imports and account data are handled inside the authenticated workspace, while public guides and calculators remain separate.
